Grinding Balls Specifically Designed for SAG Mills

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Overview

Semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) is a form of autogenous grinding in which the grinding media consist of the ore itself and supplementary steel balls. Ore is ground through impact, sliding, and compression between the grinding media and between the media and mill liners. Specifically designed for SAG mill operating conditions, this product delivers high impact energy through large-diameter grinding balls while maintaining excellent breakage resistance and low wear.

PARAMETERS

Parameters and Scope of Application

Product SeriesGrinding Balls Specifically Designed for SAG Mills
Specification RangeΦ100–Φ200
Applicable MillSAG Mills
Main FunctionsAs supplementary grinding media, large-diameter grinding balls use their gravitational potential energy to impact and abrade coarse ore, delivering effective breakage. High resistance to breakage and spalling, combined with low wear, helps reduce operating costs.
Adaptive ServicesWith in-house, fully automated heat treatment equipment and production lines, we tailor steel grades, forming processes, and heat treatment procedures to the operating conditions of different SAG mills.
Validation IndicatorsImpact Resistance + High Wear Resistance
